I have a home made trailer I pulled for years behind the Harley and now I need to wire it for the GW. It has 4 led lights on back that were wired left, right, 2 in the center were brake and all were running lights. Now on the wing do I need any kind of diode box or converter box, am at a loss here so any help will be appreciated

Re: Trailer wiring --HELP!
I would definitely put an isolation box on the wing - it's cheap insurance to protect your bike's extensive wiring. The one I used has a bunch of little relays in it, and it's quite well made. I was planning on building one myself, but it turned out that this pre-made one was cheaper than I could build one out of parts, so I bought this one instead.doctorofpain wrote:I have a home made trailer I pulled for years behind the Harley and now I need to wire it for the GW. You may also need this harness to take you from five wire (bike) to four wire (trailer) as the Harley was a four wire setup, right?
