2012 GL1800HPNM
Transponder key
I had heard, or read somewhere that the 2012 and up had a transponder key. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks in advance

My 2012 does not have the chip. I believe only the European bikes have the transponder and maybe Canada.

GL1800's for foreign markets (Europe, UK, Australia are the ones I know for sure) since at least 2006 have had chipped keys. No GL1800's sold in the US have ever had chipped keys.

How can i uninstall my Key Transponder in my Goldwing Gl 1800 2007 when the key`s gone?
