I got a new tire (front) for my 1800 2005 its a trike I can get the wheel off the ground do I just remove the axel and it slides or drops out ? anything I need to do with the brakes? dealer wont service the trike for lift reasons but will change the tire if I bring the wheel in go figure.
Just had my front wheel of last weekend and I only undid the RH caliper(LH if you're standing in front of the bike).I left the other one bolted up and the wheel slid out and back in no problem. You might have to hold the pads apart when you're rolling the wheel back in.
If I'da known it would last this long,I'da taken better care of it.

Centering the axle before tightening the pinch bolts is critical.
When I got my Wing (from a dealer that "went over it good") I could always hear brake noise from the front and thought it was just normal drag sounds. After I changed tires and installed them myself, it is nice and quiet.
