Coolant leak on left side

Post by Graywolf72 »

My 2013 is leaking coolant on the left side just above the engine valve cover. The bike doesn't appear to be running hot. I notice the leak after a 330 mile trip. I can't see where the fluid is coming from, can I remover this left panel?

If you are speaking about the black painted panel just inboard of the left footpeg, yes, you can. However, if you are speaking of the left side of the cowling, it becomes a whole lot more difficult as tools are required to remove the entire front tupperware shroud. This is what Honda would refer to as a "not customer serviceable" area, lmao. With your year of bike, tho, I would take it to Honda, as it is certainly under warranty.
