Where's a good online store to buy oil filters. I have a 2012.
I know this must have been discussed in multiple threads, but apparently I'm an idiot because I can't find any reference to this topic
Also I need to buy oil filter's for my wife's 2007 650 V-Star, so it would be handy if I could buy both at the same time.
I always just did a search for Honda GL1800 OEM oil filters. Then went to each site to find who was cheapest. I buy 10 at a time to get a good price. Lowest price I found was at http://cyclemax.com/inc/sdetail/4102/4154 I have bought from them before. Of course shipping comes into play.
I buy my GL1200 filters off Ebay. I imagine you can get yours from RockAuto.com or any of the wholesale auto parts outlets online. 1800's use a spin-on filter, don't they? I bet NAPA carries a replacement for it as well. NAPA "Gold" filters are rated pretty high as far as auto filters go. I use WIX filters for my car... I like them.
I am wrong as often as I am right concerning what is wrong with someone else' motorcycle without having seen the machine in person. Guessing with limited information, as to the source of the trouble, is sketchy at best.
I did the search and found that Amazon was selling K&N filters cheaper than K&N's own website. And no shipping charge.
Sometimes I wonder why I even look anywhere else.
