Do tires lose air this fast
The honda dealer told someone (while I was close by) that the tires lose 1lb of pressure every 3 days. has anyone seent his happening?

Don't know what the dealer was smoking but I check my pressure weekly and it never goes down. The only air I lose is from checking the pressure. Been riding for almost 50 years and never heard of anything so stupid.

Ditto. Some guys will really try to blow smoke up customers butts just to give the impression they know something.

I remember reading something like that a while ago. I didn't believe it when I read it, and I've never experienced that kind of air loss from a tire in good condition.
If the tire(s) on my bike lost that much air, I'd be looking for the source of air loss... back valve stem, bead leaking, nail or screw or other trash in the tread.

I am wrong as often as I am right concerning what is wrong with someone else' motorcycle without having seen the machine in person. Guessing with limited information, as to the source of the trouble, is sketchy at best.
