Can anyone guide me to or tell me the packages that are one the 2007-20009 Goldwing. I've been looking around and some bikes have this and some have that. Also, when I look at NADA they just have a bunch of numbers and I can't tell which model goes with which value. (see below)
GL18B8 Goldwing (**)
GL18BM8 Goldwing (**)
GL18HPN8 Goldwing (**)
GL18HPNA8 Goldwing (ABS) (**)
GL18HPNAM8 Goldwing (ABS) (**)
GL18HPNM8 Goldwing (**)
GL18P8 Goldwing
GL18PM8 Goldwing
Thanks for any assistance.

Re: Models
Best I can do is guess a bit. I looked in the service manual and model ID is not like that. They have IIIA, IIICM, VA, VIICM etc. Each level of options has a different set like that, and 06-07 have a different set than 08-10 year models. So, as a guess as to what the letters mean, here goes:
B = Basic
H = Heated Seats and Grips
P = Premium Audio
N = Navigation
A = Airbag
M = XM Radio (only on U.S. Bikes)
8 = Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS - on all 08 and up)
Keep in mind that all this is only conjecture, using the optional equipment available to choose. I am probably way off the beam, but that would not be a novel thing.

Re: Models
Good guess but A = ABS and I assume 8 is for '08?

Re: Models
Do you know this for a fact? If so, right on. I had assumed ABS was taken care of with two of the model numbers as follows.JerriEric wrote:Good guess but A = ABS and I assume 8 is for '08?
GL18HPNA8 Goldwing (ABS) (**)
GL18HPNAM8 Goldwing (ABS) (**)
However, as they are the only two models with an A in the coding, you are likely correct.
