The torque value for the front Axle bolt is 44 lb.ft. The pinch bolts get 16 lb.ft. There is a sequence to tightening the axle and pinch bolts.. After shoving the axle home, until it's index line on the left end lines up with the fork leg, tighten the left pinch bolts. Then tighten the axle bolt and follow up with the right side pinch bolts. After doing all this, I personally loosen off the left side pinch bolts again to allow the fork leg to relax, and then re torque them again. You did not ask, but while here, the rear wheel lugs take 80 lb.ft in a diagonal pattern like a car. I do these in three stages, like 30 - 60 - 80 - and again at 80 till I get NO movement in any bolt before the torque wrench clicks. Incidentally, I do the same on the front.
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey
