Is it possible to install a Honda heated seat in a 2005 Goldwing or must it be an aftermarket model?

Re: heated seat
You should be able to do it. We have a user who has done just this, albeit with an aftermarket seat - but the same thing should work with a Honda seat:bucks wrote:Is it possible to install a Honda heated seat in a 2005 Goldwing or must it be an aftermarket model?

Re: heated seat
Bolts right up I have an 02 with an 09 heated seat. Heating the seat requires additional effort. Easiest I've seen is using a Dual Permanent Gerbing Controller to feed the seat. The aforementioned article discusses the pin to connect to on the seat's heat plug. I built my own heater circuits for a lot less but using Pulse Wave Modulator circuits, but it you need some electrical training far beyond the Gerbing controller approach. I recently added an 06 heated backrest to accompany the 09 seat... nice an toasty (better than an unmodified comfort package setup).
