New member here, new Wing to me, bought last month with 1689 miles on it. Audio was working fine, aux, i pod audio for the navigation when I parked it.
Went on vacation and 10 days later, when I started the wing, no audio. Nothing audio related comes up on any screen, navi or not. When I turn the key on to start, I hear a fairly loud pop ( like when you plug in a guitar to an amp ) from the speakers. Unfortunately original warranty expired in Aug 2014 Checked and replaced the fuse, no help ( it was not blown, but replaced anyway ) Talked to a salesman at the dealer who everyone says knows everything about wings, He checked it and doesn't know what is wrong. So, will have to put it in the shop unless someone here has an idea of what is wrong.
Thanks

Maybe I should have said that the dealer installed a new battery today as the original was not holding a charge well.

Re: 2012 GL1800 Audio Quit Working
my 2012 did the same thing.....when I disconnected the battery! - get out the owners manual and start "waking up" the electronic audio and Nav by setting up the "screen" ...volume, balance, auto volume, surround sound, connect an USB drive to the cable in the trunk, etc...same thing if you have Navigation...park it outside so it can see the satellites...it takes a little while but it all comes back....hope this helps
