saddle bag open lights
Took the saddle bags off my 08 to put on a progressive spring,re assembled and saddle bag open light wont go off when bags are closed.

Some things to check are the wiring connections. Retrace what you disconnected and make sure connections tight, that a wire didn't break at the connector, maybe ohm out the connector you took apart. While plugged in and no power on, just ohm across the wires on both sides of the connector. If it is a good connection, you will read ohms, if it is open or disconnected, your meter will not read anything different than if the leads were not touching each other. To know what a good reading would be, put the meter leads together and with meter on ohms, you will see a reading. This is what you should see measuring across the connector or close to it.

When i close mine i need to hit them once or twice to get that lite to go off.
