CB Radio Antenna Install
I have a 2012 GL1800 with Kuryakn Arm rests. I bought a cb radio to install. The radio is easy. However, the antenna needs to mount over the arm rest support. I don't see anyway to remove the chrome over the mount bolts for the armrest. Any ideas? Check out the picture of the left mount.

Re: CB Radio Antenna Install
This is supplied by Kuryakin with their armrest kits for use in place of the antenna when you don't have the CB antenna, as the armrests are held in place using the antenna fasteners. It has studs fastened to it, so you need to go inside the trunk and remove the nuts off the studs to remove the plate.

Re: CB Radio Antenna Install
That got it! I initially tried to just push the studs but that didn't work so I needed to give them a 'love tap'. Nearly complete with the installation. I did find the antenna routing instructions vague so I improvised. Just need some silicone for the holes I drilled.
Thanks!
