Installing the Back Off brake light module 2010 goldwing
Has anyone installed the Back Off XP on a 2010 GL 1800 on all break lights and had success. I tried tapping into the Green/Red wire under the seat and got no response out of the unit. I want the trunk and lower lights to flash. I was told that the stock bulbs draw to much power for the module so I went to AutoZone and replaced them with LED bulbs. Any ideas or pictures on installing the system would be appreciated. Thanks

WingAdmin posted a nice piece on LED bulb installs. You most likely need a resistor across the leads to get lights to light. Not sure, but search LED lights and look for his article It is quite good. However it is on a 1500, not an 1800 but should be similar is not the same
