hi everyone!
I have a 2005 GL1800 30TH anniversary the one in the picture beside this message, my question is : the vents on the top and the
lower one should have heat coming through or are just for decoration? the ones on the 2010 works great .
Being a 30th anniversary I would thought Honda would done a better job but nope , I have no heated seat nor grip, that was a big mistake on my part ASS UMING every GW would have heated seat.
Thanks in Advance for Your input.

Re: LEG WARMER VENTS
On a 2005 the vents under the windshield are cool air vents only-they are not on the 2006 and up models.
The vents in the lower fairing in front of your shins have little to no use at all. Don't even know why they are there.
The comfort package, which includes heated grips, heated seat and passenger back rest and the toe warmers were introduced in 2006.

If your interested, there are heated grips, heated panels to insert in your seat/backrest or you can mount a OEM heated seat, using the same controllers as used for heated clothing.

Re: LEG WARMER VENTS
I'm sure are a bit price by the time I finish .
Do you know if any one done it? I bought it because my wife broke her leg and taught wil be easyer to get in to the sidecar than climbe on the bike.
Forgot to ask if anyone changed the triple tree on a goldwing and made a big difference, I've seen topic/s on this site and they talking about 4" or 6"
I know it a different topic.
Anyway tanks for your input if you have a link for the heaters please post it thanks.

The rake kits are for trikes as adding a conversion makes the steering difficult. I have a 4deg rake on mine.
I have no idea how a sidecar rig steers. Maybe some sidecar riders will speak up.
There are several that have added heated grips and seats to their Wings. Yes, it can get pricey
