Gl1800 shift patterns
It has been a long time since I have ridden a Goldwing due to a bad head on car accident with a wrong way driver on meth 9 years ago I have some memory loss and a TBI that is unfortunately irreversible, and now I am having trouble remembering the shift pattern (not sure which way it shifts) on a Honda Goldwing GL1800.I feel so dumb.

Re: Gl1800 shift patterns
It's the same as virtually every other motorcycle nowadays: Down to downshift, up to upshift, neutral is between 1 and 2. So the shift pattern is 1-N-2-3-4-5lynnricheva wrote:It has been a long time since I have ridden a Goldwing due to a bad head on car accident with a wrong way driver on meth 9 years ago I have some memory loss and a TBI that is unfortunately irreversible, and now I am having trouble remembering the shift pattern (not sure which way it shifts) on a Honda Goldwing GL1800.I feel so dumb.

1 down and 4 up. Neutral is between 1st and 2nd. Some times it can be hard to find,.

Make sure when you go from first to second that you give a positive solid upshift so that you don't get into neutral.
