Key Switch Problem
Have an 05 Wing that suddenly won't start when the key is turned to the on position and the starter button is pushed. Clutch is pulled in and bike is in gear. Only way it will start is to put the bike in neutral. That will work with the kick stand up or down. Anyone had this problem and have a solution? Appreciate any suggestions.

Re: Key Switch Problem
I believe the GL 1800 has a little microswitch safety that actuates with the clutch lever. If this microswitch test's bad with a multimeter that's your problem.

Re: Key Switch Problem
Removed the clutch lever and switch, cleaned the cruise and neutral buttons, removed the wiring connectors and cleaned them Re-installed everything, problem solved. Thanks for the tip.
