Radio works intermittently
Just bought a 2006 GW and everything is great except the radio. It hits and misses. Doesn't matter if it's AM/FM or Weather. Any ideas on what to look for?

You will need to examine, clean, and tighten the connections. Both power, and antenna. The antenna would be where I would start. You will need to ensure that the antenna connections are all bright and clean, and then ensure that they are tight. Check the earth of the connections, as well. HTH

Do you have a CB? If so, and the volume is down all the way on the CB so that you can't hear it, every time it breaks squelch, it will cause the radio to stop playing, and you'll hear silence. I've been caught out by this several times myself.

Along the same idea as the CB muting your radio; look at the intercom doing the same. If the intercom has a hot mic to a headset (or other device i.e. a Sat radio/GPS with null volume that could be using the headset voice input) it will mute also. Turn off the intercom and test, also if you do have a CB try turning it off and if that solves the issue check it's settings (volume/squelch) and that the PTT switch is not acting glitch (or a passenger PTT stuff under the seat).

The same thing happened to me. Just by dumb luck, I tried turning up the CB squelch and everything audio worked!

You could do that, or you could turn your CB off and see if it fixes the problem. If it does, then you need to check your settings. To turn off any of the audio components, one must push the button and hold for at least two seconds, (until you hear a beep). Each of the audio components has a three position switch. Quick push once turns it on to speakers, 2nd quick push changes to headphones, and the long push turns it off. The Audio must be turned on also.
