fi light on and rough running

Hello everyone
I am new at this posting.I have a 2001 gl1800 champion trike that the fi light came on.Pulled the codes 12-17 and also both knock sensors code.I know all 6 injectors and both sensors are not defect.Also radio went crazy several times and display flashed .Ithink I am chasing a ground problem.Any ideas on where mot of the grounds are located.And any other ideas Thanks in advance for any help

Good Morning, there are 2 ground points that I know of. 1 is behind the left engine cover, just near the vent. Another is not so easy to get at, and I believe it is the main one. It is under the fuel tank.
Remove the top shelter and seat. Remove the fuel tank bolts and I'm sure you need to shift the electrical components that are at the front of the tank. You do NOT need to remove the tank completely, however it does need to be lifted so that access can be gained to the earth. Have the tank as empty as possible and just jiggle the tank and swear at it and it'll move enough to gain the needed access.(swearing is not compulsory, but it helped me)

Thanks for the info.I think I found the problem being a screw fell in to my right cooling fan an locked it up.I guess caused excessive draw and set the light off.Remove it everything seems fine.Will post later. THANKS

Just in case I printed out this schematic for the injection system. Glad you found the problem!

It has to print out on 2 pages or 8 1/2 X 14.

For Honda OEM Parts I have found Partzilla to be the best price. But they don't have all OEM parts. Case by case look up.
