Hi Guys 'n' Gals,
While changing the coolant on my '04 GL1800, I noticed a hose under the neck of the coolant bottle. It's grey with a red stripe. There's a T-Piece in the hose but I couldn't find where the T-Piece connected to. Two of the arms are in the grey hose but where does the other one go? The hose heads up somewhere under the seat (I guess) and the other end goes towards the front of the bike. Has anyone met this hose before and know it's secrets?
Cheers
Mal

Here is a drawing out of the 1800 Service Manual. Maybe it will help as I am not sure which hose you are talking about.

Re: What is this hose for?
Thanks for the replies. I'm pretty sure it's not a part of the cooling system. I have the service manual but haven't been able to find it in the drawings (yet). It goes up somewhere under the seat. I'll pop the seat off today to see if I can find where it leads.
