Right Turn Only
I have a 2005 1800 with 17,000 miles and on my last ride I noticed that every time I leaned into a right hand curve or turned right at an intersection, parking lot, and etc. , My radio will cut in and out and my trip meter will go to zero. I will also get a "popping" noise in my helmet headset if the radio is off and I only have the intercom on. This has kind of got me stumped. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Are the indicators on when this happens?

Re: Right Turn Only
That's a good question. I am not sure that every single time this issue has happened I was using my turn signal. I do know that I always try to use my signals when I ride.

Re: Right Turn Only
You will need to isolate what is starting it off, if you are riding in a straight line and nothing happens and you can turn left and nothing happens then it stands to reason that the right hand side indicator(if it is on) is the catalyst.
I had a problem with one of my bikes and it was the earth on the right side circuit. Similar thing was fine until I used the indicators. Then my trip meter reset and my dash lights used to go off.
I assume the battery is ok?

Re: Right Turn Only
Thanks for the advice. I will verify if this problem happens when I use my right indicator or not. Brand new battery installed just prior to this problem.
