I had to locate a coolant leak and removed the airbox, fuel tank etc and have replaced all and am sure everything is reconnected correctly.
At the same time I removed front timing cover to repaint it as it was looking tired
Now all lights come on correctly for the starting sequence, the HISS works when kill switch is activated and goes off when set to start, the fuel pump is working to pressurise the fuel rail, there is fuel, he engine cranks but will not start - no spark
By detaching and replacing the module on the timing cover have I inadvertently done something wrong and caused a problem.
Any suggestions

Re: Bike will not start
I have not had this problem on a 1800 yet but did have a np spark issue on a Yamaha turned out I had a problem with the kickstand switch check to make sure you have it plugged in. Completely
Just a thought

Bent tooth on pulse generator rotor will do it every time.
Not sure how it happened but problem now solved with a new rotor
