reverse actuator going crazy

Post by lon.levine »

Hi everyone, my first visit here. I just upgraded from a 1998 to a 2004 ABS. I've only had it for a thousand miles or so, and on a 4 hour trip, started hearing a motor run in the left side of the fairing, it would seem to bind, Pop, and repeat for ten or twelve cycles. I got home, looked at the Clymer book that came with it, and discovered to my dismay that it must be the reverse actuator making the racket. Can anyone help?

OK, so I finally had a chance to go out and feel around to ascertain what is making the racket on the left side of the fairing. I turns out to be the left headlight adjust motor beating itself up. I'm going to repost with a new title
