Can I put an F6B seat on a 2008 GL1800 Airbag

Hey folks, I recently switched from a 1984 GL1200 Interstate to a 2008 GL1800 Airbag. I love the fuel injection and some of the newer features...have ridden a couple thousand more miles this year than any year I have lived in Oregon....BUT, at 6'1" , with much of my height in my legs, my knees are very close to the dash. Often, I turn on the emergency flashers with my left knee. I have sat on a couple of F6B's and they seem to have me sitting back farther from the dash. Has anyone tried putting an F6B on a full-dressed GL1800? It's an idea I have been bouncing around for the extra legroom. Thoughts? You guys have tons of great ideas. I would love to hear some of them. Thanks!

Seats from 2001 to 2010 fit any of those years.

This fellow has what you need (or maybe want) He has a king Ultimate seat and is selling it relatively inexpensively. It will fit your bike and it gives a taller person a bit more room. He also has some other stuff to go with it.
