I've read several posts that mention the connector for the heated grips is behind the right side radiator and that it must be removed. I have a 2015 GL1800 (non-airbag). Looking for confirmation (since the service manuals are backordered!!) on the location.
In my attempt to 'move the grip' down to make space for a J&M Bluetooth activation button, I sliced right through the grip wire. I have a new OEM grip on order and trying to sort out whether it makes sense to splice it (is that even practical?) or try and find the plug for the left grip.
Anyone have a picture of the left clutch side heated grip connector location to help guide me?
