I have a 2001 GL1800, that the Trunk Open Warning Light keeps flashing on the display. I have tried removing the trunk lock assembly and cleaning it up, tried checking to see if all of the wires were connected under the trunk and seat, but I have had no luck. The bike had been converted to a trike, but the wiring should basically be the same.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

Re: Trunk Warning Light
Did this just start? Or did it start when the trike conversion was done?

Re: Trunk Warning Light
I have had the trike about a year, and it just started.

Check the two screws outward facing left and right of the lock area, if loose the whole thing droops a fraction of an inch and the switch won't contact. Also the two U bars on the lid can be adjusted slightly up or down and I find mine were not quite deep enough to latch when closed.
