Anyone know why sirius weather warnings aren't run through headset?

Post by myakicic »

Been trying to figure out why the Sirius weather warnings don't come through the headset audio on my 12' GL1800. Can't find anything in the book. Anyone have an answer?

Do you have the headset symbol showing with NAVI next to it? That is what is showing on my screen and I get them just fine. If not, just push the NAVI button until the headset symbol shows. Page 147 in the bike owners manual. This info is not in the NAV book.

I do have the NAV on, and directions come through just fine, it's when a weather alert comes through that it cuts out the audiio on the headsets & the warning comes over the bike speakers. I'll have to double check the book then. Thanks.

Now that I think of it, mine did the same thing at one point. I had to push the Nav button a few times or I had to turn the mode switch on the left panel. Sorry, I just do not remember. I just started messing with it and got it to work. I looked through the manual some more and did not come up with anything further.
