I am having a problem with my radio/mp3 player not getting power. I put in a new headset in my helmet, and hooked it up to the bike to try it out. had the ingnition in ACC mode. At first everything worked fine, then I pushed the audio headset button so it would go through the speakers, and it would not change, acted like it was locked up or something. I tried turning it off, and on thinking maybe it would reset. When I turned the ignition off the mp3 player continued to play. I then turned it back on, and had no power to audio, or at least am not able to get it to come on. None of the buttons on the dash do anything, and the screen remains blank. I have the amp, and mp3 player mounted in the trunk. When I checked them the power to the amp is on, but not the mp3 player. There is a reset button on the mp3 player, I tried resetting it, but still no power. I also checked the audio fuse in the fuse box, and it appears to be fine. Are there any in line fuses that I should check. I am very limited in my knowledge of wiring, so I don't really want to get into it too much, but thought maybe someone on this forum could suggest something that might help short of a visit to the dealer.
Thanks, frustrated in Florida... Bob

Re: Radio power problem
Got it, pinched wire under seat. Had full Monty traxion upgrade done first part of the week. Can't say that that had anything to do with it. Doesn't matter, cheap fix. Rides good, sounds good. I'm in heaven.
