I-com helmet communications
I am hoping that i can get some help from this forum. I have recently purchased a 2008 GL1800, my first Goldwing. Although an amazing bike the previous owner has undertaken some upgrades. One such upgrade is the removal of the cord to plug into your helmet. The previous owner was nice enough to provide the cable in a box of bits that he had replaced. But the problem is, he also removed or hid what the other end plugs into (not the helmet end). Does anyone know where this connection normally lives?

If it's the rider's connection (not the passenger's) then it's underneath the left fairing pocket. Remove the pocket and you will find the six-pin locking Hitachi-style connector that will plug into the pigtail lead that you have.NYGully wrote:I am hoping that i can get some help from this forum. Thanks, i have had a feel a round underneath the fairing pocket, although there are a few connectors in there none seems to be unused. I will check again under the air flow box thats tucked in there too. Thanks again.
