How to remove a mirror and the frame that it set's in from the body on GW 1800

There is a screw on the bottom of the mirror housing that allows you to, after removal, gain access to the inside of the mirror housing.

I need to get the mirror housing/frame off the Bike to replace the complete mirror and frame the mirror sets in.

After you get it apart, throw away the JIS (phillips) head screws. Change them to allen head screws. No more stripped heads and much easier to remove next time.
