Audio Headset Output

Post by dbrieler »

I have a 2003 Gl1800ABS, The audio systems works fine except there is no output (music, CB or Intercom) to either headset. Works fine through the external speakers. Any help would be appreciated.

Read through the narrative. It is a common issue and this guy is extremely knowledgeable and can fix your radio.

I've had him work on two of mine and he does an excellent job and the turn around is pretty darn fast.

Just wondering if you have the "HEADSET" icons showing on the display? If you see the speakers (which you will when the function was selected), you'll have audio through the speakers. Push the button a second time, and you'll see the "headset".
If this isn't the problem, then you'll need to dig deeper.

On the 1800 wing the volume for headset and outside speakers has their own setting. Make sure the volume is turned up when you switch to headset.
