Hi guys,
Before strip down my 2001 wing, I would like to know if anyone has had issues with there radio failing eg loose connectors at all?
My rear speakers stopped working first and now the fronts have don'twork,I'm suspicious of either loose wires or connections. Anyone got any thoughts.
Regards Robert

Re: Gl1800 am fm radio
Robert, there have been problems with the wires for the speakers going to the rear trunk breaking right at the location where they enter the trunk and bend when you open it. Yes, it could be a connector problem and maybe cleaning the contacts with an electrical cleaner and reinstalling will work.
You can also go to WingConnect.com and email Larry about the problem. If it is in the unit itself he may be able to fix it.

If the shelter has been off for an air filter change, the connectors on the radio may not have been locked in all the way. And finally worked loose.

Thanks again, looks like I ordered speakers a bit prematurely. Oh well you get that
