No power, stuck in reverse

Post by m2102 »

Got as problem I would like to see if anyone mite have a solution. On a ride yesterday had no problem with starting or in and out of reverse. On way back home stoped for a break and when I went to start, nothing. No power and no lighhts. Could rock it in gear and lights wild try and come on but not stay on. The f1lite would blink once as go off. Got lights to stay in to get started and headed for home. When I wanted to back into shed in reverse lights went almost out when button pushed. Came on when released. After couple tried it died and is noiw stuck in reverse and no power. I put in a new battery and still no power. Old one tested bad and new one has 13.85 showing on meter. Looking for ideas, suggestions or what to try to get out of reverse and why no power. TIA.
Mike

I'm guessing it's there battery ground under the fuel tank. The ground I put in took care of everything. The tank has to come out to get to it. Sounds like a winter project.
