RADIO VOLUME

Post by buferd »

I have a 2009 goldwing and the volume on the left grip will increase the volume but won't decrease it. I have to turn the volume down with the radio knob, has anyone had this problem or know a fix for it?

It sounds like you just need to clean the switch with some electronic contact cleaner.

Contact cleaner is my first suggestion as well. If you've had to pull the shelter though the two connectors on the back of the radio might be the issue. I've failed to fully connect the big left hand radio connector and some of my left pod switches were wonky or inoperative.

Thanks Pastot; I will try that, on a recent trip I also noticed that the lever to change stations also only will increase the stations not decrease them.

Diminishing volume:
I noticed this last trip that I had to increase the volume on my radio all the way up, and still could barely hear it. I had not had this problem before. Any thoughts?
