Temp Guage

Post by trad »

I have a 2007 Gl1800 and the temp gauge just stopped working. What might cause this problem ?

If all the other gauges work, then it is probably the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor or the connector for it. The ECT connector is attached to the ECT sensor below the left radiator. The ECT sensor is on the left cylinder head. The troubleshooting procedure in in the Service Manual under the heading of LIGHTS/METERS/SWITCHES.
