Need Help with Stereo Upgrade

Post by Big Tee »

I have a 2003 and am going with a Clarion XC1410 300W XC amp and want to know what size speakers I need before I order. I have Polk 501s on my Valkyrie but had to trim some. Does anyone have a link or any info on it?
Thanks in advance! :)

just put a set of polk db651's on my 2013,had to do some triming of each speaker to fit,but the sound difference is WELL worth the work. not all that hard either.
 I know people say we spend too much money on our rides, but I can't hear them when I'm 1000 miles away!

I believe DB501s will work front and rear for 2001 to 2005. 2006 to 2010 need DB651s in the front, but DB501s fit the rear. 2012 and up, I do not know, but believe DB651s front and rear. The Polk speakers are marine quality and so will stand up to rain and washing the bike.
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey
