this is for all newer Goldwing's that have the sdcard Not the compactflash.
I have the latest north America 2018 maps. I've only tested this one in the garage but I'm guessing its the same as 2016 and 2017.
they just worked. its very simple to do, copy your old card to a new faster and larger card, and replace the gmapprom.img with the new one.
Note: copy your original card to your PC and then put it away. Never mess with the factory card or you will end up buying a new one if it gets messed up

just came across an 8GB sdhc card. will this work and which of my oem cards am i copying to it? the map (upper) or sd (lower) cards in my gps unit?and where are the updates? very interested
I know people say we spend too much money on our rides, but I can't hear them when I'm 1000 miles away!
