GPS input
I have been wanting to get my zumo gps able to be heard in my headset. The harness it came with has a 3.5 plug in that is tucked in under the left fairing pocket. I also have an xm satellite radio that is plugged into my aux audio. Can The gps input unit sold on here work with my sattelite radio? Do I need a "splitter" of sorts to have this and satellite radio both in my headset?

Re: GPS input
Why not just get the GPS Input Device available through this site? It goes inline with your headset connection and allows the GPS commands to be heard through your headset like a factory installed unit.

Re: GPS input
That is my plan. Can see one plugin and not the other on opposite end. Just wanted to clarify before getting one.

Re: GPS input
I see. I misunderstood. If it were me, I'd use the audio input in the pocket for your satellite radio and and the GPS Input Device for the GPS. The input device doesn't provide a stereo output and can only be heard in your headset. I used one on my 1500 and it worked great. I can't remember if you can talk over it though.

Thanks for the input. Gives me something to think about.
