Front tire change at dealer

Post by tomas65 »

Removed front wheel tonight. Taking to dealer tomorrow to have new tire mounted. Would they need the wheel spacers for rebalancing or anything else?

All you need to take them is the wheel. If they need spacers, they will have them but I don't think they are needed.

Try 2 or 3 ounces of balance beads and forget the spacers (do you mean weights?). The dealer may stock them.

I never thought of that but maybe he did mean weights. I've never heard them called spacers before.
