I've tried to read thru others' posts on turn signal issues and cannot find the same behavior as the one as I have. 2003 GL1800. This happened suddenly without sporadic failure or any indication.
Turn signals glow constantly, but do not blink properly (opposite sides blink!). Also, when brakes are applied, the turn signal lights all brighten. The turn signal indicators on the dash glow all the time. The auto-canceler function works.
I've already swapped relays under the seat, and that doesn't solve it. I disconnected both battery terminals and sanded and cleaned up everything and tightened them down - to no avail.
It's a poor ground problem, I think. But, where to start and how to be methodical and check the easiest, most likely things first. Thanks in advance.

Re: Turn Signal Issue
Definately sounds like a ground problem. One place to start is check the condition of the C15 connector under seat way in back it is a 14 pin connector. Others have bypassed the ground around this connector to correct some weird electrical problems. Good luck
