No brake light from brake handle.

Post by Davek80514 »

It seems that when I squeeze the brake handle the brake light doesn't come on. But it works from the foot peddle.
Where should I start looking?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Cyclemax of Ohio has the brake light switches in stock for $10.

I just had that happen, the brake lights would only come on occasionally with the hand brake but always work with the foot pedal. Mechanic at the dealer said "it's always the switch" and changed it for $15.00 bucks while I was there getting a new rear tire installed. Didn't charge me any labor or diagnostic time for it either.

Works great now!
