EBC Rotors... any experience?

Post by stefteach »

Hello wingers,

any one out there with EBC rotors installed on a 1800GL?

I am considering changing my front wheel rotors (one is slightly bent) and I am debating OEM vs aftermarket....

Thanks.

The OEM rotors on our GL1800 bikes are pretty darned good. I do not believe you will get aftermarket that stand up as well. That being said, you can probably buy two sets of aftermarket for the price of one set of OEM, so the choice is yours. Let us know if you go aftermarket and how they work for you.

Well, I've researched it a little bit and other bike forums praise their performance so I'll try them; and as you said: $500.00 vs. $320.00 is quite tempting. I would not buy Chinese-made rotors, but EBC is an English manufacturer with a long history of high-performance discs so... keep fingers crossed!

Safe riding...
