GL1800 windshield

GL1800 windshield
I am ordering a new windshield for my 1800 and while looking at many different ones, I have noticed that some sites say that the windshield will fit both a 1500 and an 1800. So with that being said I am wanting to know if I can take the windshield off my 1998 GL1500 and put it on my 2009 GL1800. Dose anyone know if they are the same fitment or is this impossible. Thanks for any info anyone can give me.

If you look at the site of CycleMax without advertising, you look at a winshield for the 1500cc said from 1981 to 2000, and for the 1800cc have from 2001 to 2017.
I do not believe that you can interchange the two winshields.
