Next: I have some very nice passenger armrests that I want to remove. They are bolted into the rear speaker boxes. I have not been able to find anything in the service manual on how to gain access to the inside of the boxes to remove the armrests. Can someone give me a clue?

I have just purchased a 2003 GL 1800, very low miles. I am looking for a CB radio for it. There was a guy up in Washington State somewhere that had a lot of Goldwing parts. I purchased the CB and Antenna for my GL 1500 from him about 3 years ago. His prices were reasonable and the unit is still working well today. Problem is, that was about two phones and two computers ago and I cannot locate his contact info. Would anyone happen to know the guy?

Thanks for the info and your response. Yes, I do want to sell them. They are in great condition. They are not the factory units. I will get the manufacturer of them and post a pic of them tomorrow.
