My rear brake is not working properly, I have to press the brake pedal 4-5 times to make it work, I have looked at the pads like new, bleed and replaced brake fluid with DOT-4 as recommended, but still same problem, what could be my problem, front brake works fine only rear, I only got about 10,800 miles on it.

Re: 2010 Goldwing rear brake not working
It sounds like you may have an internal leak down in your rear master cylinder. That is, unless you have seen brake fluid on the ground beneath your bike over the last while. Have you had the full recall done, where they replace this master cylinder and the secondary master at the front? Not the inspection, but the full replacement recall. If you have, then they may have put in a faulty rear brake master cylinder. If you have not had it done, this may be the perfect time.

Did you have the reminder of Honda to change the read master cylinder ???????
For my bike they changed the master cylinder and change the brake fluid.

Did you follow the sequence for bleeding the brake line as you just cant bleed the caliper and be done. On the 1800 theres a sequence and you can have issues with the front that affect the rear caliper. Remember when you press the rear pedal youre also using one of the front calipers at the same time due to the linked system. Check out the link.
