dumb me

I tried to use acetone on my windshield to clean and it is ruin ,buying new Memphis Shades windshield. :cry:

You need to be very careful with acetone on any plastic surface, that will be an expensive lesson!! Windshields are not cheap..

Ouch! That is a hard lesson to learn. If you want to get a windshield that will last you a lifetime, go with F4 Customs. My 7 year old one looks the same as the day I installed it!

Hard lesson! Optic Armor would be my choice for replacement.

Perhaps it was the only way to convince the wife that a new windshield was necessary. Good info billbob, thank you.

Sorry. When you get a new windscreen installed drop by your dealer and get a can of Honda pro cleaner, stuff is great on plastic and water just beads off.

Acetone?? Good Lord why?
Acetone dissolves almost anything!
