electrical plug/socket location

Post by gbearth »

hi can anyone advise where I can find a document that shows the location on the bike (1800 - 2004) of the electrical plug and sockets.
I have a CD manual but cannot find anything on the locations.

Thanks

Unlike the GL1500 Service Manual, there is no section dedicated to showing locations and pictures of the connectors. You will need to refer to each individual section of the manual that pertains to the specific system you are interested in.

Thanks MikeB

The plug/socket I want to get access too is defined as 6P B1 (mini). I think its located near or under the air-box could you clever people out there please confirm before I strip the bike down, 6P is attached to the gear selector. Whoever wrote the manuals must have now moved on to MI5 or CIA because they are bl00dy difficult to follow.
