2001 1800 Gold Wing

2001 1800 Gold Wing
When I took my Gold Wing out the other day, it would not shift into, and stay in overdrive. I do have a trike, so it is a heel/toe shifter. Any ideas how to fix this?

Maybe heel to toe shifter is the problem ,it is a linkage type right?
