TaoTronics Bluetooth Transmitter

Post by Overbyte »

Hi All,

Like everyone else, I guess, I would like to be able to listen to my radio on my Sena 20s or my Chatterbox Xbi2 headsets via Bluetooth.
I see the TaoTronics Bluetooth Transmitter advertised at a very good price and it looks very simple to use.

Has anyone tried this device, and if so, what is your opinion, the good, the bad and the ugly. I like like the price but not if it won't work...

Thanks in advance,

Thanx jinx,
It looks to be much the same thing I looked at.
I particularly like the fact that it will pair with 2 headsets.
At that price I can afford to take a chance. I think I will buy one.
Thanx again,

I am missing something here.... I have a bluetooth headset in the helmet I use on my Virago to hear directions from my gps. Are you telling me I can use this device to listen to my GW 1800 radio system using my bluetooth helmet? I noticed they also make a tranceiver device.... Will it work on the GW as well?

There are threads on this board telling you how to do just that. I have wired my bluetooth transmitter into the bikes intercom. I can now hear the bikes audio system in my smh10 headset.

The easiest way to do this is get one of the transmitters above and a 5pin to 3.5mm adapter for the gl1800 intercom .
