RIVCO Aero Flip-Out Highway Pegs

Post by raven41951 »

I found these on Cyclemax.

GL1800, F6B Aero Flip-Out Highway Pegs (RGL18003/P1624-0288)

Has anyone tried them? They seem to be what I am looking for, but I am wondering if being mounted on the valve covers, do they get hot?

IF you're riding barefoot, YA they'll be a bit warm. :)
Being Alum they'll cool fairly quick when riding. THO not sure if taking away safe space from a tip-over is something wanted.
Looks really good tho. ;)

A friend has them on his F6B and loves them. He said it took a little while to get used to opening them because he said it wasn't that easy at first but now he's glad he has them.

Keep in mind that if they are mounted on the valve covers
and the bike tips over, it could land on them and break
a very expensive valve cover, as well as putting your bike
out of action til you repair it.
The crash bars are there to protect the valve covers.
