First is to try to get rid of it. Have you tried pulling the negative battery terminal for fifteen minutes or so to see if that cures it? As far as what is causing it, I also have a 2009, but not having experienced the buzz, I cannot help further. Good luck with the pulling of the negative correcting the problem.

Is the buzz coming from the speakers? Sounds strange that you would have an audio buzz if the radio is off.
Two problem grounds: one under the right cover near the reverse linkage, this is a brass bolt and very prone to breaking, be careful removing and reinstalling it.
The other is the main ground under the seat. You have to pull the fuel tank to get to it.
One more place is the connectors. Locate C14 connector and check the condition of the contacts. Disconnect the battery before pulling the connectors or grounds apart. You don't want to cause anymore problems.

Thank you for your responses. I have a little work that doesn't cause me to take it to the dealer.

I disconnected the negative cable for 15 seconds and that took care of the buzzing noise. Thank you for the suggestions.
